About World Frequency Day
A Global Invitation to Tune In Together
World Frequency Day is a global observance that brings people together every November 11 at 11:11 through sound, mindfulness, music, wellbeing and collective presence to strengthen human connection and create positive impact for future generations.
Established in 2025 through The Frequency School, the day invites people to explore their relationship with sound and discover moments of connection within themselves and their communities.
Connection. Presence. Impact.

Youth Impact

Small Actions Create Big Change
A few minutes of shared attention, multiplied across the world.
Why 11/11
A date that mirrors itself
The eleventh day of the eleventh month carries a visual symmetry — two matching figures side by side. For World Frequency Day, that symmetry symbolises unity, balance and connection: individuals standing alongside one another.
The invitation to pause at 11:11 AM and 11:11 PM local time is a practical way to let people participate across every time zone, so the moment travels around the world over the course of the day. It is a symbolic gathering point — not a claim that any time or frequency holds medical significance.

Our story
From a personal journey to a global movement
The roots of World Frequency Day lie in a personal story. Maejor's experiences with cancer deepened his interest in music and the role sound can play in wellbeing — in comfort, reflection and a sense of connection during difficult times. That interest became a wider question: how might sound bring people together more intentionally?
Alongside Martina Fuchs, Brandon Lee, Kingsley Maduka and Aaron Dawson, that question took shape as The Frequency School, an initiative uniting creativity, education, intentional listening and wellbeing. In 2025, World Frequency Day followed — a single day each year when anyone, anywhere, is invited to tune in together.
